5 Simple Steps To Plan an Indian Rocks Beach Wedding

Choose Your Wedding Date

Elopements are often associated with short engagement periods, but not always. So maybe you just decided to get hitched and want to make an immediate wedding getaway. Great and you can choose an all inclusive small wedding package! Or maybe you’ve been planning an elaborate wedding for months but feel overwhelmed and ready to get back to the basics. You can still have a fully decorated ceremony even on a beach but it’s so much easier. Whatever your story, let’s get this show on the road so you can learn how to have a beach wedding in Florida!

Make Your Deposit

Once you’ve decided on your date, your deposit will reserve your selected beach wedding date. And this deposit goes towards your package price. Upon your deposit payment, you will receive the User ID and Password to our selections pages.  Here you can make all of your important beach wedding ceremony selections including your vows.  A confirmation packet will be sent to you where you can make all selections electronically. Our professional design experience allows for easy decisions regarding your beach wedding cost and you can keep it as neutral or colorful as you like!

Choose Exact Time and Ceremony Decor

Are you looking for a late morning wedding with a quiet, intimate ceremony before the Florida heat sets in? Or will your wedding bells be ringing in the afternoon/evening hours to take advantage of a Gulf coast sunset? Anyone who knows photography and Florida beachside weddings knows how important the light is. The “golden hour” (the hour or so after sunrise and before sunset) is the best part of the day to take wedding photos. It’s also highly recommended that you use a professional outdoor photographer so every moment is captured with the right lighting and poses.

Choosing an inexpensive beach wedding package is so easy even from the comfort of your living room. We show you, on our website and options pages, EXACTLY what you can expect with our decorations, chairs and accessories.

Wedding Dress

Choosing a wedding dress is such a timeless right of passage for brides. And just because you may be eloping or having a small beach wedding, doesn’t mean you can’t pick out an elaborate wedding dress. Or, maybe you love the idea of a casual wedding dress. Whatever your style, whatever your budget, choose a dress/groom attire that suits you and matches your personality.

Tie the Knot on Pass-A-Grille Beach, St. Pete

The Beach Venue

Pass-A-Grille is located at the southernmost end of St. Pete Beach. Historic Pass-A-Grille is a laid back beach town where you can easily walk to the beach, visit boutiques, have an ice cream or drink, dine out at restaurants, or walk on fishing piers. Laneasha and Anthony were married in June under the canopy of their beautiful Tropical Distinctive Design complete wedding package. The bride walked toward her beloved Anthony and was given to him in marriage as the Gulf beach water sparkled in the background.

The Wedding Party

They had 50 guests and a bridal party that included a groomsman, ring bearers, a flower girl, a junior bridesmaid and one Woman of Honor. The bridesmaids walked individually down the Tiki torch lined aisle. Starfish and green ferns guided them through the white guest chairs accented in a tropical orange color.

The Wedding Vows

Laneasha and Anthony had their own minister officiate the beach ceremony. They also included an optional seashell blessing and Sand Ceremony. The sand colors were white and bride orange, and they brought their own unity glass to use and cherish forever.

Ceremony Music

The music playlist for this couple’s beach ceremony was used for the bridal party to walk down the aisle, the bride to walk down the aisle, and a song for after the kiss! They chose:

  • Bridal Party: The Blessing by Kari Jobi, Cody Carnes
  • Bride Walk: This is Why I Love You by MAJOR
  • After Kiss: Cruisin’ by Smokey Robinson

The Beach Wedding Package

Consultations by phone and email with our Beach Wedding Specialist were included and we made sure the bride had a final beach wedding ceremony agenda and Pass-A-Grille location instructions to share with her wedding guests. A large wooden “chalkboard” sign announced the new couple as well. The guests also enjoyed chilled water so they could stay cool during the vow ceremony. This couple used tropical orange as an accent color for their  chairbands, but a bride can customize this to her own style.

Wedding Photography

Choosing a wedding photographer was easy for this couple who used our professional photographer to capture their memories of this special day in St. Pete. Many shots of their wedding ceremony were taken, as well as fun and romantic pictures down by the Gulf water and with family and friends.

Beach Elopement – Is It Right For Me?

Wondering if a beach elopement is really as simple, pack your bags and say “I do” on the beach? And trying to figure out how to make your elopement special? Well, the intimate beach setting and simplicity are the foundational principals of a destination beach elopement. One minute you’re relaxing on the beach with your fiancé watching the blue ocean waves roll in and out. And just a few short hours, a shower, a little make up and dress later, and you’re ready to walk down the aisle and say your “I do’s.” No extensive guest list or wedding party to keep track of. No elaborate reception to plan (cha ching)! No stress or worries. Just you and your spouse enjoying each other.

So how do you take all these basic concepts and create a memorable experience? Well, that’s the best part. We’ll do all the work for you. So sit back in your beach lounge chair, I mean, computer chair, and read on to see how a beach elopement is a memorable and special event.

Ask Yourself: Is a Beach Elopement Right For Me?

Intimacy

We’re not talking about the post-wedding, honeymoon, kind of intimacy. A beach elopement package allows the bride and groom to really focus on the matter at hand. MARRIAGE! And a little of that intimacy gets lost in the shuffle with a large wedding. Now we’re not saying beach elopements are for everyone. But if “My Big, Fat Greek Wedding” classifies under horror film for you, then a beach elopement may be just your speed. Quiet, stress free kind of wedding.

Affordability

One of the top concerns for any bride- What’s the price tag? For under $1,000 you can “have it all!” And by “all,” we mean:

  • Officiant: who will perform, and coordinate, your beach wedding ceremony
  • Traditional ceremony and vows
  • Our select beach location
  • Consultations by phone and email
  • Ceremony decor consisting of a natural bamboo arch with white or ivory flowing material, or add starfish across the top,
  • Unity Sand Ceremony, including: Decorated sand ceremony table, keepsake vase, sand color choices.
  • Photographer at ceremony site with approximately 30 photos, which will include the ceremony and a few poses of the bride and groom immediately after the ceremony, available for you to download from your online gallery for free: Available for upgrade, see additional information at bottom of this page
  • Legal filing of your Florida marriage license

That’s the definition of an affordable wedding right there!

Memorable

Worried that it’s not going to be “fancy” enough? Or that it won’t feel like a “wedding day” without all the bells and whistles? Intimate, affordable, memorable. Do those three words have you saying, “I do” to beach elopements? Click HERE for more information or call (386) 214-6361.
