Siesta Key Starfish Beach Wedding

Florida destination wedding packages are the way to go if you are planning to get married on Siesta Key Beach. Dionna and Anmolpreet tied the knot in April 2021 on this beautiful Gulf beach with sand as white as snow. They chose our Starfish Distinctive Design package which has very soft, subtle decor that lets the wedding couple take center stage. It is sophisticated with a four post bamboo canopy with white or ivory draped material. Greenery with pink and white floral arrangements line the bamboo pole aisle-way. Starfish and tassels hang behind the bride and groom, and accent the aisle too.

They hosted 35 guests and a ring bearer on Siesta Key Beach. Music played on our PA system included a steel drum rendition of, “A Thousand Years”. They had a Unity Sand Ceremony and Seashell Blessing. This Sarasota beach wedding couple glows with happiness as their friends and family watch. Sometimes this popular beach gets crowded, but this day in April it seems as if they have the sugary sand to themselves. Our beach wedding staff knows the best days and times to schedule your ceremony, so that you won’t be overcrowded. Our officiant, Pam, guided them through their vows to their very first kiss!

What could be more beachy than aqua blue chair bands with a Siesta Key Starfish wedding? Chilled water was also included so that everyone would remain comfortable. A large, decorated “chalkboard” sign announced the newly married couple! Siesta Key is one of the best beach wedding venues Florida has to offer and our Florida wedding packages made it all easier than ever!

Bride is carried by groomsmen on Siesta Key Beach

This wedding party did not worry about what to wear to a beach wedding: they chose suits that matched their personality. The perfect way to go for any groomsman. Do you love the white, bridal bouquet? It’s very elegant, matches the style of her wedding dress, and adds a touch of formality to your special day. Even on a Florida beach you can have the more formal wedding of your dreams!

And it doesn’t cost extra to have it all taken care of for you; in fact it can be a cheap wedding compared to a wedding day at home! Ceremony Options

Our officiant will always be delighted to officiate your wedding ceremony, as well as coordinate the proceedings so you know when to walk down the aisle, etc. Religious-toned or non-religious can be accommodated. If you have a minister that you wish to preside over your vows, just let us know. Your vows are so special and should be the way you both want them to be. Maybe you want to write your own vows, or use one of ours with a touch of customization. Anything goes for your special day on a Florida beach.

Blessings

A Unity Sand Ceremony by definition is a tradition in which a couple getting married pours sand from separate containers into one central one. It represents the two people uniting together in marriage. Children love it because they get to pick the color they love and blend it into the vase with the rest of the family. Historically, this type of ceremony was performed in a church, but on the beach its too windy for candles and the sand is much more meaningful. Many brides coordinate the sand color with their beach wedding theme colors. Usually your minister or officiant will say a few words that resonate with the two of you as you pour your beautifully colored sand together into the unity container.

As these separate containers of sand are poured into the common container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one. Just as these sands can never be separated, and poured into their individual containers, again, so will your marriage, and family, be.”

East Coast Beach Weddings

When it comes to having a beach wedding in the sun and sea, choosing a location on the east coast of Florida will tick all the boxes. Why? It’s simple…the Atlantic ocean! Nothing beats the cooling sea breeze on a summer day or the sound of ocean waves as you say your vows. Up and down the Florida  Atlantic coast you will find a wide variety of beach and sand types, depending on what activities you want to do after your beach wedding. Our couples choose St. Augustine as one of their favorite beach wedding locations because of the historic and romantic atmosphere. Daytona Beach is perfect for biking and walking with its firm sand, Cocoa Beach for surfing and Boynton Beach or Fort Lauderdale for shopping and beautiful blue green ocean views.

Save Money

Florida Wedding Packages

All-inclusive destination weddings are really the easiest way to go and the most budget-friendly, and you can do it all online from your home. Even with photography opted in, most beach wedding packages are less than $3,000! So what Florida wedding package do you choose? It depends on many things:

  • your guest count
  • your budget
  • your level of desired decorations
  • your options for first dance, toast as a married couple, wedding photography
  • your location and permits – in this case Siesta Key Beach or Lido Key Beach.

The best wedding package for under 10 guests:

Small Florida beach wedding ceremonies

Our Beach Beginnings Package is elegant and one of our couples’ favorites! Up to 10 people and chairs for your guests to witness your vows between two bamboo poles, along with shells and white/ivory flowers. Want tropical? You can have those flowers if you choose. It even incudes a greenery aisle for the bride to walk down and approximately 50 wedding photos.

The best wedding package for 10-24 guests:

Our Nautical Knot wedding package is perfect for a larger guest count but still small enough to be sweet and simple in Siesta! Starfish, wildflowers, pink ribbons…what does your heart desire? Up to 24 chairs are included but you can add more. The canopy of three bamboo poles and your choice of colors and accessories will make your special day stand out. Even adding professional beach photography won’t break your bank.

The best wedding package for 25 and up guest count:

Can you say, “I want it all for my wedding” and get it on the beach? YES you can! And in Siesta Key it’s all that more special with the sunsets. We recommend our Distinctive Design packages for the couple that wants a large, highly decorated beach wedding. With up to 36 chairs, a huge 4 post bamboo wedding arch, chilled water for your guests, chalkboard sign, music and more. Just add beach photography!

Easy Travel

If you want to tie the knot in Florida, choosing your mode of transportation to Sarasota is a good starting point. And depending on your starting and ending point, your most affordable option can vary.

  • Land: Calculate gas/mileage for a Florida road trip and travel time to your beach wedding location.
  • Air: Check travel sites like Orbitz or Travelocity to see flight costs. Don’t forget to consider additional fees like baggage (your wedding dress), seat selection, cost to park at the airport. Sometimes choosing a slightly higher “upfront” ticket can be cheaper in the long run by including free bags or seat assignment. Also check out Trip Advisor’s handy tool for some Sarasota, Florida Flight Stats.

Nicer Than You Can Imagine

Time of Year:  Spring break is a hot season for travelers to Florida and hotel prices often reflect those demands. You can often get late August/September discounts as long as you can handle the heat. Otherwise, Fall is a great time to plan a Florida beach wedding. Less heat, less travelers, and traditionally cheaper rates. Also, avoid price hikes during holiday weekends. If you are a northerner looking to take a break from the brutal winter, Florida’s mild winter weather may be the perfect reason to ditch the snow shovel and get some Florida sunshine on Siesta Key or Lido Key beach.

Less Stress Than Traditional Weddings

A small wedding of your dreams can be easy and beautiful at the same time. And there are other perks. Walking on the beach with friends and family on the morning of your wedding, going fishing or just chilling watching the sunset on the eve of your Siesta Key ceremony.
