Lido Beach Weddings and location guide

Lido Beach Zone 2

Zone 2 is one of our preferred locations for our Lido Beach Weddings. With a sandy walkway from the parking lot, you will get to feel paradise touch your toes almost instantaneously. Lido Beach is also a shorter beach than the public access of Siesta Key, making your Florida beach wedding ceremony closer to the Gulf water. This not only makes for a beautiful photos of your ceremony, but really brings the feel of the beachfront to life. If you are looking to stay as close as possible to your Gulf Beach wedding ceremony, consider checking out the Holiday Inn, which is just a short walk away. Read more about it below.

Restaurants for your reception

If you are having an intimate beach wedding, restaurants are a great choice for your small reception dinner. You can save money by not renting a hall, hiring a DJ, bringing in catering, etc.. St. Armands Circle in Sarasota is filled with restaurant options for your group, but we highly recommend checking out the options below.

Lido Beach FAQs

Do I need a permit for my Lido beach wedding?

Yes, all of our Lido Beach Weddings will require you to pay a permit fee. We take care of pulling the permit for you so you don’t have to lift a finger.

Do I need a Florida Marriage License?

Yes. To make your Lido Beach wedding ceremony legal, you will have to obtain a Florida marriage license. Once you have reserved your date with us, we will provide you with the information you need to get your license by mail, saving you a trip to the courthouse.

When is the best time for a Lido Beach Wedding?
Lido Beach has beautiful sunsets. We recommend planning your beach wedding ceremony one hour before sunset. This allows you to take full advantage of the “golden hour” for your ceremony and have beautiful sunset photos after. While any time of the year is a great time for a Florida beach wedding, we recommend the fall if you are looking for less crowded beaches.
